We are looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team and help us create a positive and enriching experience for the children in our care.

Job Description:
As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will support Early Childhood Educators in implementing daily programs and activities that promote children's development and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
• Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation, serving snacks, and supporting children during meal times.
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in the classroom and play areas.
• Assisting children with personal hygiene and toileting.
• Observing children's behavior and progress and reporting any concerns to the lead educator.
• Communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff to create a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude.
• A valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A clean criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check.
