Position Overview:
CNP Community & Sport Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engaging and effective fitness classes, providing personalized instruction, and inspiring members to achieve their fitness goals. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to promoting health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and lead a variety of fitness classes, including cardio, strength training, flexibility, and specialized programs.
- Provide personalized instruction and modifications to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
- Motivate and inspire members to reach their fitness goals through encouragement and expert guidance.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Monitor and maintain fitness equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Stay current with fitness trends and continuously improve class offerings.
- Assist in developing and promoting new fitness programs and events at the centre.
- Build strong relationships with members, encouraging long-term participation in fitness activities.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Group Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading fitness classes or providing personal training.
- Strong knowledge of fitness principles, techniques, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt classes and programs to meet the needs of diverse participants.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
