Job Description: As a Technical Instructor at The Ford Driving School, you will be responsible for delivering specialized instruction in technical aspects of driving and vehicle operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive technology, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical instruction to students on various aspects of vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials.
- Assess students’ understanding and performance through practical exercises and tests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology and industry best practices.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their technical skills.
- Ensure all training activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall training program.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of new training programs and materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Instructor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or a degree in a related field is preferred.
