Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our team in Quebec. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our IT systems, controls, and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to assess risks, security, and compliance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement audit plans, including the scope, objectives, and methodologies.
- Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas of non-compliance, and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to remediate identified issues and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented controls and measures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging threats to ensure audits are comprehensive and current.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of internal IT audit policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, COBIT, NIST).
- Experience with auditing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
- Bilingual (English and French) is preferred.
