Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Quebec. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach our customers. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and reputation of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Perform thorough manual and automated testing on software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and ensure they are met.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in the improvement of quality assurance processes and testing methodologies.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of testing activities and outcomes.
- Provide input and suggestions for product improvements based on test findings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
