Position Overview:
K23 Technologies Inc. is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Quebec. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and employees, providing essential technical support and ensuring that IT issues are resolved efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining the high level of service that our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests from clients and employees via phone, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Document and track all support requests, ensuring issues are resolved and follow-up is completed.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Provide training and support to users on IT systems and best practices.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant departments as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company systems, software, and IT infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and cybersecurity practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
- Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
