Job Description:
TUBE Technology Solutions is looking for a talented IT Specialist to provide comprehensive support and management for our IT systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our technology infrastructure, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and securely. This full-time position is based in Manitoba, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring optimal operation and security.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company’s IT assets and data.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to assess technology needs and develop solutions.
- Manage and support IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades.
- Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and IT best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to IT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT support or specialist role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Experience with IT project management and system implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
