Job Description:
Ka and Ka Sanghera Berry Farms Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals for the role of Fruit Farm Worker. The successful candidates will assist in various tasks related to fruit cultivation, including planting, harvesting, and packing. This full-time, seasonal position offers the chance to work in a beautiful rural setting in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harvest fruits, such as berries, by hand with care to avoid damage.
• Sort and pack fruits according to size, quality, and type.
• Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining fruit crops.
• Transport harvested fruits to storage or processing areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other farm-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• No formal education is required; previous experience in fruit farming or agriculture is an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, especially during peak harvest periods.
