Position Overview: The EyeCare Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and guidance in selecting their eyewear. This position requires a strong customer service orientation, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in eye care and optical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting the appropriate lenses and frames, ensuring a perfect fit and style.
- Provide comprehensive information on lens options, coatings, and eyewear maintenance.
- Help patients understand their vision insurance benefits and assist with processing claims.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle general administrative tasks.
- Work closely with optometrists to ensure a seamless experience from eye exams to eyewear fitting.
- Educate patients on the importance of eye health and proper eyewear care.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including managing inventory.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear and advances in optical technology.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in the optical or healthcare industry, is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to learn and effectively convey information about various eyewear products and options.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
