Position Overview: The Petroleum Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing petroleum products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in petroleum inspection and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of petroleum products at various stages, including storage, transportation, and distribution.
- Perform sampling and testing of petroleum products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and report findings from inspections, including any deviations from standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve any quality or compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding petroleum quality and standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Petroleum Inspector or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of petroleum products, industry standards, and inspection procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections and tasks.
- Relevant certifications or training in petroleum inspection are an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various inspection sites.
