Job Description: As a Deli Clerk at The Solar Innovative Energy, you will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and sale of deli products. You will ensure that our deli section is well-stocked, clean, and organized, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli department, following all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli selections, offering product information, and addressing any inquiries.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking to ensure product availability.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing cash.
- Assist with the display and merchandising of deli products to attract customers and promote sales.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to food safety, quality control, and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the deli department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a deli or food service role is preferred but not required.
