Job Description: As a Pharmacy Clerk at Grt Energy, you will support the daily operations of our pharmacy department by handling various administrative and customer service tasks. You will assist with prescription processing, manage inventory, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their pharmaceutical needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including prescription refills and new orders.
- Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and managing product expiration dates.
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of medications, including labeling and documentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about over-the-counter medications and pharmacy services.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage cash register transactions, including processing payments and handling cash.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and inventory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terms and procedures is an asset.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and cash register systems.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
