Job Description: As a Cashier at The Locals Outlet Collection, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. You will handle customer transactions, provide assistance with inquiries, and contribute to maintaining a welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases.
- Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Bag or package items carefully to ensure they are protected during transport.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Provide a positive shopping experience by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
