Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to oversee and manage our financial functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership. You will be responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing leadership to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Monitor financial performance and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, investment opportunities, and risk management.
- Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and financial risk assessment.
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes and contribute to long-term business planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial management, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Experience with financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
