As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Consultant to join our team in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Consultant with extensive experience in immigration law and consulting to provide expert guidance to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Canadian immigration policies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple client cases effectively. You will be responsible for advising clients, preparing applications, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on various immigration pathways, including family sponsorship, express entry, work permits, study permits, and more.
- Prepare and review immigration applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies, and communicate these changes to clients as necessary.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on the status of their applications.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for complex immigration cases.
- Represent clients in communications with immigration authorities, including responding to requests for additional information and attending hearings if required.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in the provision of immigration services.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in immigration consulting, with a strong understanding of Canadian immigration law and procedures.
- A recognized certification or designation in immigration consulting (RCIC) or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively to clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset.
