Position Overview: We are looking for an accomplished Plant Manager with a proven track record in manufacturing to oversee our production facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our plant operates efficiently, meets production goals, and maintains the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the plant meets or exceeds production targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to align plant operations with overall business objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Manage the plant budget, including capital expenditures and cost control measures.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the plant.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar senior manufacturing role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with budget management and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
