Job Description:
We are seeking a multi-talented individual to help with cookie decorating, production, baking, packaging, and general kitchen duties. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate cookies and other baked goods with precision and creativity, following shop standards and customer specifications
- Assist in the production and baking of a variety of sweets, including cookies, cakes, and other pastries
- Help with the packaging of finished products, ensuring they are presented attractively and safely for sale
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of baking and decorating supplies, and assist with restocking as needed
- Support the kitchen team with various tasks, including cleaning, equipment maintenance, and preparation work
- Ensure all products meet quality standards before they are sold or distributed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new products and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
- Creativity and skill in cookie decorating and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Physical stamina to perform kitchen duties, including lifting, standing, and moving heavy items
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
