Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Food Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop, responsible for serving customers, preparing ice cream treats, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction will ensure that every visit to Sale's Tail Ice Cream Shop is a sweet one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders
• Scoop and serve ice cream, prepare sundaes, cones, and other frozen treats
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and seating areas
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed
• Ensure that all products are prepared and served according to our high standards
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
