Role Overview:
As a Busser, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. You will work closely with the waitstaff to provide prompt and efficient service, ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset for the next guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently after guests have finished their meals.
- Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware to prepare for the next guests.
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables when needed.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean and well-maintained throughout service.
- Refill water glasses, condiments, and other table necessities as needed.
- Remove and properly dispose of trash, recycling, and other waste materials.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in other areas of the restaurant, such as the kitchen and restrooms.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to any additional requests or needs.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to assist in various tasks as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
