Job Description: As a Commercial Driving Instructor at Sine Driving School, you will be responsible for training students in the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, strong instructional skills, and a commitment to ensuring students are well-prepared for their driving careers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct driving lessons and training sessions for commercial vehicle operators, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of commercial driving.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and industry standards.
- Assess students’ driving abilities and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure all training activities comply with local traffic laws, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, training sessions, and assessments.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students build confidence and proficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in commercial driving regulations and techniques.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the training program.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driving instructor certification and license in Ontario.
- Proven experience as a commercial driving instructor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Patience, professionalism, and a dedication to promoting safe driving practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus.
