Job Description: As a Driver Trainer at Perfect Drive Driving School, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive driving instruction to students, focusing on both practical skills and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driver training, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct driving lessons and training sessions for students, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of driving.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess students’ driving skills and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
- Ensure that all training activities comply with local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson outcomes.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment to help students build confidence.
- Stay updated with the latest driving techniques, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall training program.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a driving instructor or in a similar role.
- Valid driving instructor certification and license in Nova Scotia.
- Strong knowledge of driving laws, safety procedures, and instructional techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Patience, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus.
