Job Description: As a Driving Instructor at Mines Driving School, you will be responsible for teaching students how to drive safely and confidently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driver education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping students succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one driving instruction to students of various skill levels.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and driving exercises.
• Assess students’ driving skills and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
• Ensure that all instruction is in compliance with local traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and lesson outcomes.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to student scheduling and record-keeping.

Requirements:

• Valid driving instructor certification and license in Nova Scotia.
• Proven experience as a driving instructor or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of driving laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
• Patience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus.
