We are looking for an energetic and hardworking Bar Back to join our team at a busy bar in Toronto. If you’re passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to support our bartenders in delivering top-notch service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stocked with liquor, mixers, ice, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning spills, washing glassware, and disposing of trash.
- Refill garnishes, replenish stock, and ensure the bar is prepared for peak service times.
- Help in preparing simple drinks and cocktails under the supervision of the bartenders.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Support the team in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the bar.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bar Back or in a similar role is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- A keen interest in learning about mixology and bar operations.
