We are currently expanding our operations in Manitoba and are seeking a skilled and experienced Hiring Manager to lead our recruitment efforts in the region.
Position Overview: The Hiring Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to managing the selection and onboarding process. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the recruitment process for a variety of roles, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for candidates and clients.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates for open positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Manage relationships with clients, ensuring their hiring needs are met and providing guidance on best practices.
- Oversee the candidate selection process, including reference checks, salary negotiations, and job offers.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Hiring Manager or in a senior recruitment role, preferably within an HR consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and selection techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
