Position Overview: The Website Designer will be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with our clients' brand identities and business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, user experience (UX) best practices, and the ability to translate client needs into effective digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their website requirements, goals, and branding.
- Design responsive, visually engaging websites that provide an excellent user experience across devices.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas to clients and team members.
- Implement design elements using HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our designs cutting-edge.
- Conduct usability testing and make iterative improvements based on feedback.
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and search engine rankings.
- Provide ongoing design support and maintenance for existing client websites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Website Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with UX/UI design and an understanding of how to create user-centered designs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they influence design.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional websites.
