Position Overview: The EyeCare Advisor will assist clients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and style preferences while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for eye care and fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide clients in choosing the right lenses and frames based on their prescription, lifestyle, and fashion preferences.
- Provide detailed information on various lens options, including coatings and materials.
- Assist clients in understanding their vision insurance benefits and help process claims.
- Schedule appointments, manage client records, and perform general administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with optometrists to ensure clients receive comprehensive eye care services.
- Educate clients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
- Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, including product displays and inventory management.
- Stay updated on the latest eyewear trends and optical technologies.
- Address client questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the optical or healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to learn and explain various eyewear products and options.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client records and transactions.
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
