Position Overview: The Oilfield Laborer will be responsible for supporting various operations in the oilfield, including equipment maintenance, site preparation, and general labour tasks. This role requires individuals who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of oilfield equipment and machinery.
- Perform manual labour tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Help prepare and clean up job sites before and after operations.
- Support skilled workers and technicians in their tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
- Operate hand and power tools as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an oilfield laborer role or similar position is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to follow instructions closely.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with oilfield operations are beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
