Position Overview: The Swamper will assist with various tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and transportation of equipment and materials. This role is essential in supporting our pump service operations and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
- Support the safe and efficient transportation of equipment to job sites.
- Help with the setup, operation, and maintenance of pump equipment.
- Perform manual labour tasks as required, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist skilled workers and technicians with various tasks on-site.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labourer or swamper role is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
