Position Overview: The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment used in petroleum operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain petroleum equipment at various field locations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during field operations.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the petroleum or energy sector.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant technical certifications or training are an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various field locations.
