Position Overview: The Labourer will assist with various tasks related to the day-to-day operations of our oil and gas facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to gain experience in the energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting field operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of equipment and tools on site.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials.
- Help set up and take down equipment and structures as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Support skilled workers and technicians in their tasks.
- Perform routine inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labourer role, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to following them.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
