Position Overview: As an Oil Field Labourer – Shop, you will play a crucial role in supporting our oil field operations by assisting with the maintenance, preparation, and organization of equipment and tools in our shop. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain experience in the energy sector and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of tools and equipment in the shop.
- Prepare equipment for field operations, ensuring all tools are in working order.
- Load and unload materials and supplies as needed.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
- Support field teams by ensuring they have the necessary equipment and supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of tools and materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labourer role, preferably in the oil and gas industry, is an asset.
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
