Position Overview: The General Labourer will assist in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and support of our renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector and is comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of solar panels and other renewable energy systems.
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
- Perform site clean-up and ensure a safe working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks as needed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a general labour or construction role is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working at heights.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
