Position Overview: As a Field Production Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our production facilities. You will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing oil and gas production processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a passion for the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor oil and gas production equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain optimal production levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Record and report production data accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in safety drills and training.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Field Production Operator or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of production operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote or field setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid safety certifications and training (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid).
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
