Location: Prince Edward Island, Canada
Salary: $48,000 per year
Sun Energy Institute of Canada is looking for a reliable and organized Assistant-Magasinier to join our team in Prince Edward Island. If you have experience in inventory management and are passionate about working in the renewable energy sector, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations
- Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to coordinate the timely delivery of materials to project sites
- Perform regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of materials for shipment
- Support the warehouse manager in daily operations and other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in the energy or construction industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification is an asset)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required
- A valid driver’s license is preferred
