Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their style, preferences, and budget
- Create and present detailed design plans, including layouts, color schemes, and furniture selections
- Source and recommend materials, furnishings, and decor that align with the client’s vision
- Manage the entire decorating process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals to execute design plans
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate the latest design innovations into your work
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Interior Decorating, Interior Design, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Interior Decorator with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
