Job Description: As an Environmental Services Aide at Two Bros. Floors Ltd., you will play a key role in supporting our environmental and sustainability programs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, managing waste and recycling programs, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with the implementation and management of waste management and recycling programs.
- Monitor and manage the use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any environmental or cleanliness issues.
- Support the development and enforcement of environmental policies and procedures.
- Assist with the disposal of hazardous materials and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve environmental practices and achieve sustainability goals.
- Provide support for environmental audits and inspections, and maintain accurate records related to environmental services.
- Participate in training and development programs related to environmental services and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in environmental services or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in environmental services, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to waste management and recycling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
