Job Description: As an Assistant Store Manager in Training at Nature Shop, you will learn the ins and outs of store management while working closely with our experienced management team. You will be responsible for supporting daily store operations, leading a team, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Lead and motivate a team of store associates, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service.
- Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotional activities to achieve store targets.
- Monitor store performance metrics, including sales, customer satisfaction, and inventory levels, and report findings to the Store Manager.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and positive manner.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop leadership and management skills.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining the store’s visual standards.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the store.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in retail, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- A passion for nature, sustainability, and eco-friendly products.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and Microsoft Office applications.
