Job Description: As a UX/UI Designer at The Collection Winnipeg, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall digital experience for our customers. You will work closely with our development, marketing, and product teams to design and implement visually appealing and functional user interfaces across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, business goals, and project requirements.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze user behavior and design metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance design processes and outputs.
- Create and present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and solutions.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly designs.
