Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. As a Custodian at A.T. Furnace and Duct Cleaning, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe work environment for our team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all areas within the facility.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of office spaces, ensuring trash is emptied, surfaces are wiped down, and floors are spotless.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management of any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up after company events or meetings.
- Ensure that all cleaning is completed according to safety guidelines and company standards.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a custodian or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
