Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Laborers to assist with various tasks on our job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks to support our projects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including removing debris and organizing materials.
- Carry and move materials and equipment as needed to support project activities.
- Perform basic construction tasks, such as digging, mixing materials, and setting up scaffolding.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laborer or similar role is an asset, but not required.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and construction practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
