Position Overview: We are seeking reliable and motivated Painter Helpers to assist our professional painters with various tasks related to painting and surface preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in painting and gaining hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist painters with surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Prepare and organize painting materials and tools for use on job sites.
• Help with mixing paints, stains, and other finishing products.
• Assist with the application of paint, including brushing, rolling, and spraying.
• Set up and clean up job sites, including removing protective coverings and disposing of waste.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
• Work closely with lead painters to complete tasks efficiently and to high standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions carefully.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
• Basic understanding of painting techniques and safety procedures is preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
