Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Forensics and Litigation Support specialist to provide expert analysis and support in legal matters related to immigration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic analysis, litigation support, and a deep understanding of immigration law. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of legal cases, providing detailed reports, and supporting our legal team in litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forensic analysis of documents, data, and evidence related to immigration cases.
- Provide litigation support, including the preparation of detailed reports, affidavits, and exhibits for legal proceedings.
- Assist in the development of case strategies by providing expert insights and analysis.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to identify and investigate potential fraud, misrepresentation, and other legal issues.
- Testify as an expert witness in court proceedings when required.
- Stay current with developments in forensic analysis techniques, immigration law, and related regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all forensic activities and findings.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on forensic and litigation support processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in the provision of forensic and litigation support services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Law, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in forensic analysis and litigation support, preferably within the field of immigration law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and evidence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards.
- Experience with forensic software and tools is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
