As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Helper, Shear to join our production team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Helper, Shear to assist in the operation of shearing equipment used in the production of awnings, signs, and related products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of shearing equipment.
• Handle materials and components, ensuring they are correctly positioned and fed into the shear.
• Inspect and measure materials before and after shearing to ensure they meet specifications.
• Support the production team in other tasks as needed, including lifting and moving materials, organizing work areas, and assisting with assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Report any equipment issues or production challenges to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials and stand for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
