Position Overview: We are looking for a Service Technician to provide exceptional service and support for our range of abrasive products and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, as well as providing technical support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of abrasive products and related equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, providing effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, documenting all service activities and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to address customer needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
- Maintain a well-organized service vehicle and inventory of tools and parts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar technical role, preferably in the abrasive products industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in service and maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Technical certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
