As our company grows, we are seeking a talented Drafter to join our team and help bring our designs to life.
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Drafter with experience in producing detailed drawings and plans for awnings and related structures. The successful candidate will work closely with our design and production teams to create precise technical drawings that meet our clients' specifications and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans for awnings, canopies, and other custom structures using CAD software.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure designs are accurate and feasible for manufacturing.
- Review and interpret project specifications, client requirements, and architectural drawings.
- Make revisions to drawings based on feedback from the design team or clients.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all projects, including material lists and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of new design concepts and prototypes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drafter, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or architectural industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, engineering principles, and construction techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
