Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to handle various aspects of sheet metal fabrication and installation. In this role, you will work with a variety of materials and tools to create and assemble metal components for our tents and awnings. Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints
- Operate and maintain sheet metal tools and equipment, including shears, brakes, and welders
- Measure, cut, and shape metal sheets to precise dimensions
- Assemble and install metal parts and structures, ensuring proper fit and function
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
- Perform maintenance and repairs on metal components as needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain organized and clean work areas and tools
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using sheet metal tools and machinery
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed
