Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee the daily operations at The Mountain Chocolate Factory within Blenz Coffee South Surrey. In this role, you will manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the high standards of our products and services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or issues promptly
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of our chocolate products and coffee beverages, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting stock checks
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing staff members
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers
- Monitor and report on sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail or food service environment is required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and cash handling procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- A passion for high-quality chocolate and coffee products
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
