Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bread Baker to join our team at Ureak Lunchbox. As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of bread products, ensuring they are always fresh, delicious, and up to our high standards. This role is perfect for someone who loves the art of bread making and wants to be part of a team that values quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, including loaves, rolls, and specialty breads
- Follow established recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor the baking process, adjusting temperatures, and times as necessary to achieve the desired results
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients, ensuring timely replenishment
- Experiment with new recipes and contribute ideas for improving existing products
- Ensure that all bread products meet our quality standards before they are sold or used in our meals
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, including cleaning and equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques and processes
- Ability to work early mornings and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of flour and other ingredients
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
