Job Description:
We are seeking a Casual Ice Cream Shoppe Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for serving customers, preparing a variety of ice cream treats, and ensuring that our shop is clean and inviting. This is a casual position, ideal for someone looking for flexible work hours and a fun, customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scoop and serve ice cream, prepare sundaes, cones, and other frozen treats
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the counter and seating areas
- Ensure that all products are served according to our high standards
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Assist with restocking inventory and supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for every visitor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
