Role Overview:
As a Nanny, you will be responsible for the daily care and supervision of our children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in age-appropriate activities. You will work closely with the parents to provide a consistent and loving environment that supports the children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, including feeding, dressing, and maintaining daily routines.
- Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including tidying up after meals, playtime, and other activities.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Accompany children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Help instill good manners, positive behavior, and social skills.
- Manage basic household tasks related to the children, such as laundry and organizing their belongings.
- Respond to any emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Nanny, babysitter, or in a similar childcare role is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with parents.
- Patience, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to plan and organize activities that are fun, educational, and appropriate for the children’s ages.
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to the family’s schedule and needs.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset.
- References from previous childcare positions will be required.
